Heating Device of Metal Spinning Machine
In order to carry out the spinning process more effectively, the more complete spinning machines are usually equipped with some auxiliary processing equipment, such as heating devices, which can be used for various forming processes. The heating devices are used to heat the blank during spinning, mainly for the following situations
(1) Hot spinning of materials that are difficult to form at room temperature
(2) Spinning of thick-walled blanks and spinning such as gas bottle sealing and diameter reduction.
(3) For some reason, we hope to have a larger amount of deformation (thinning rate)
(4) Due to the limitation of the equipment's dynamic performance, but it can meet the conditions of hot spinning, it can effectively use the existing equipment when reducing the spinning pressure and deformation power.
Commonly used heating methods are flame heating and electric induction heating. Flame heating mainly uses oxygen-acetylene flame spray gun, coal gas or liquefied petroleum gas spray gun. Electric induction heaters can also be heated directly during forming, sometimes in the furnace. As for which heating method to use, it depends on the material, shape, size and on-site processing conditions of the blank. When spinning general shaped parts, use a long welding torch; when spinning materials that are not easily oxidized, use an oxygen-acetylene flame spray gun; and when spinning materials that are easily oxidized in air, use a hydrogen flame (compressed air is used for combustion) ) spray guns, such flame spray guns should be special, large and efficient. For the gas cylinder closing and back-spin spinning, the blank is heated in the furnace first, and then installed in the spinning machine, and then the gas welding gun is used to continue to supplement the heating and spinning. When spinning large heads, spinning is carried out while heating in an open furnace.
Electric induction heating is generally suitable for the heating and spinning of tubular or cylindrical parts
When using heating spinning, the measurement and control of the heating temperature is very important. For example, when using flame heat spinning, a radiation thermometer can be used, and the temperature measurement signal is transformed by the radiation thermometer and then displayed by the electronic potentiometer. The heating temperature is controlled by adjusting the gas flow. The flame spray gun can use a special motorized mechanism to adjust the position of the heating point, or it can be adjusted manually according to the heating temperature.
During heating and spinning, due to the effects of heat conduction and heat radiation, the parts of the equipment are bound to oxidize and thermally deform, resulting in shortened service life and damage. Therefore, protective measures such as equipment insulation and cooling are particularly important. In particular, it is necessary to adopt forced water cooling or air cooling for the key parts such as the spindle of the spinning machine and its bearings, as well as the roller and tailstock sleeve. For the parts with serious heat radiation (such as the guide rails on the roller base), heat-insulating protective plates and covers made of heat-resistant materials should be installed.
