Installation Methods for Mold Adapter The installation and tightening method of mold adapter usually includes the following steps: (1) Preparation work: Confirm that the required adapters, bolts, gaskets, and other accessories are complete, and ensure that the mold and adapter surfaces are flat and clean. (2) Align the bolt holes: Place the adapter at the mold connection port and ensure that the holes on the adapter are aligned with the corresponding bolt holes on the mold. (3) Install bolts: Insert the bolts into the adapter holes one by one and tighten them one by one, but do not tighten them completely. The installation of bolts is usually carried out in a diagonal sequence. (4) Adjustment: Adjust the position of the adapter as needed to ensure complete alignment. (5) Tighten the bolts one by one: According to the predetermined torque requirements, Tighten the bolts one by one to ensure a tight fit between the adapter and the mold connection port. (6) Using special tools: In some cases, special tools or equipment may be required to assist with installation. (7)Reinforcement and stability: By installing reinforcement components, it is easy to reinforce the mold adapter, preventing poor stability and easy shaking of the adapter and mold during spinning. However, the key to installing the adapter is to tighten the nuts, and the torque should not exceed the recommended value. Finally, check whether each nut is tightened with a torque of 75% of the recommended value. That is to say, when screwing, it is necessary to divide into three processes: pre tightening, tightening, and re inspection, rather than one step. In these three processes, the size of the adapter surface opening must be consistent, followed by torque control, and finally re inspection must be achieved. Loose nuts must be tightened, nuts that are tightened too tightly should be loosened a little, and the tightening torque values of all nuts must be roughly the same!
